Under 12 Tigers Triumph in Plate Final

The Under 12 Tigers ended their season in style with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Chineham in the Plate Final at Winklebury on 30th March.

After a nervous start, the girls found their rhythm, using the wings to break forward. Their pressure paid off when Ella burst down the flank and slotted home a composed finish to put the Tigers 1-0 up.

A strong defensive effort kept Chineham at bay, but they equalised from a corner just before half-time.

The Tigers showed real determination in the second half, pushing for the winner. A brilliant save denied Ella a second goal, but moments later, Isabel’s wicked corner found the net. Despite some tense moments, the team held firm for a well-deserved victory.

The team can be particularly proud of their confidence, adaptability, and composure - everything they’ve worked on all season.
